Today`s special Iconic mini is the BattleForged Fighter. Looks robotic with some mixture of bio-tech, but looks cool and can be good alternative to any robotic minis, automations, cyborgs, warforged or mechs units.
The stance of this mini represents the readiness of the fighter to slash and kill his opponents using his long sword and if necessary to block any attack with his shield! Simple, but effective!
The face of the mini is the classic robotic one – emotionless (to some extend) and mechanic. With two glowing eyes… well not sure why they glow, but I have seen many movies where the colour of the eyes shows the current profile of the robot. Also the shape of the head shows a frown face which is underlined by the eyebrows.
The overall design of this Iconic Mini is to represent a fighting machine with metal covering protecting vital for the machine elements. That is why there there are few plates on the chest (which represent a breastplate), some shoulder guards pinned to the front and back, one neck / collar protection, plus forearms bracelets and legs guards. Ah… and there are many bolts to fix all parts to the body 🙂
The defence of this 3D printable model is additionally enhanced by a metal shield. The mini keeps it on his left side, but is quite agile to use it in any directions!
The armament of this machine is carried out by a long sword. The design is quite intricate as if with some angelic wings, but is sturdy enough to win the fight.
For this miniature I have used the classic dirt base which is suitable for any customizations. However, this time I have created two size of bases. One is 25 mm for the standard D&D size and the other size is 31 mm – which is little big bigger but again can be used in D&D campaigns, as well as in any other table-top games.
