With flaming hands here comes my latest FREE 3D printable model – the female elven wizard! The idea behind this project was to create cool looking concept for a female minifigure of a fire mage who have fireballs in her hands with specific feminine stance and intricate clothes connected to the flame theme colouring. So after testing different ideas, finally I made this Iconic mini! And I am happy with the final result! Hope you are too 🙂

The overall design was to have a cool looking female elf that emits power and determination, but at the same time to show her feminine side. So the stance of this 3D printable model is quite simple, but yet effective – slowly walking towards her foe with a brilliant display of her powers by holding in each hand a fireball.
That is why the face of this minifigure is something like a sly smile with piercing eyes showing her readiness to burn you to ashes if you do something wrong. The interesting thing here is the colour of the skin. Yes, usually elves do not have suck dark tan, but in order to have a fire mage, I used this skin colouring to underline her flame magic power. After all you get tan when you sunbath, right?

For sure this colour suits well for the role of this model! Plus the golden items (which might look more yellow than gold) underline the fire theme and the hair hues just contrasts quite successfully to the overall appearance of the miniature. And speaking about the hair – this Iconic mini got its hair strictly put into a waving pony tail. Which by the way suggests that she is a controlling type.

The next thing about this model is the mage robe. I decided to make it as much as possible light weight and free, but at the same time to grant protection and to fit in the overall fire theme. So the main colour of it – it is the red. And the black edges just underlined the main colour. Thus you can intuitively understand that after fire there is ash and ash in my case is pitch black.

The robe was designed to cover the body of the fire wizard and at the same time to show off some of her feminine characteristics. So the front of the upper part is not quite protective, but the back is! There you can even see some small golden stitches. Again to underline the fire theme.

In the middle there is the belt. And as the colour suggest – it is made from leather with some decorative golden stitches again. And under it – there is the rest of the robe. Well it is not quite as long as you might expect from a mage robe, but here the idea was to cover partially the legs and at the same time to give good protection. So the robe is divided into two waving from the movement of the model parts, plus there is an additional back part. And all of them have golden elements – some flames inspired and some fleur de lis – again to underline the fire theme.
Bellow the robe there are the cool looking boots. They consist of (1) black leg covering ending at the upper part with some golden elements and (2) delicate female high heel shoes on the feet (created in the main colour scheme – red, black and gold)

The hands of this model are wide spread and someone might think that this is a sign of weakness – leaving her body open to an attack, but in fact this is showing that the fire mage is not afraid to face danger head on! And this is understandable due to the fact that each hand has a fireball ready to turn you into ashes.
And speaking about the hands, here is the time to outline that the right hand has a unique protective bracelet. It is created as expected in the main theme of the model – red, black and some golden elements. Plus there are two the leather strips that hold the bracelet in place on the hand.

The left hand is quite different in design. It has black glove starting from around the elbow with a golden ring and goes all over the forearm and ends at the wrist. Plus there are some golden strips that are used to tie well the glove to the hand.

Of course this 3D printable model got not only robe and shoes, but some useful items. On the left side there are three magic scrolls fixed on a leather scroll belt. On the other side there are two flasks. They got some black fluid in them, so on the pic you can see the glassy effect.

And finally the comes the base. This time I used big stone slab base for this model. After all the stone can withstand the flames to some extend, so I though that this base is perfect for this mini. Of course if you think that it is good to have some other bases, just let me know and I will add them to the batch!

And to conclude this post about the Elven Fire Mage!
